At Killarney Lodge and in Algonquin Park, whether you are looking to explore or just rest, relax and enjoy, there’s something for everyone.
Hiking Take a leisurely walk to explore the Lodge surroundings. For the more adventurous, hike one of the Park’s many trails offering spectacular views. There are 15 of them!
Biking Bring your own trail bike or rent one from the nearby Lake of Two Rivers Store and ride two great bike paths - gentle or rugged.

Between the Lodge and the vast Algonquin Park, you have choices whatever the weather. For rainy days we have suggestions on local activities and points of interest. Ontario artists display their woodworking, painting and sculpture at the Art Centre which has a good gift shop and occasional art lessons. The Algonquin Visitor Centre is a mine of information on the area geography, wildlife and history; the view from there is spectacular. The Logging Museum is well worth a tour to see the tough life of early logging.
Fishing Lake of Two Rivers is for fishing small mouth bass and lake trout when in season. Bait and tackle can be obtained at the nearby Two Rivers Store. Please note, there are Algonquin Park restrictions on bait and tackle, please check.
Our house speciality - Relax! Unwind on the deck of your cabin, in the guest lounge, or on our private sandy beach. Watch the loons, beavers, and ducks, squirrels and chipmunks - read a book or simply doze the day away.
Wildlife Observe moose, beaver, fox, loons, turtles, deer, ducks and other wildlife in their environment. Be sure to bring your camera and binoculars. Take a short paddle ride, or set off for a day long adventure by canoe or on foot with a delicious packed lunch we’ll provide for you. Relax - Explore - Enjoy! Gaze at the vast night sky, listen to the sound of the gentle breeze moving through the tall pines, breathe in the fresh Algonquin air, as your eyes adjust to take in the myriad of stars filling the sky.
